The park was adorned with boats, kayaks, bikes, smiles, laughter, enjoyment and the odd sing song or two. The new oval was utilised well with those who preferred to kick the footy or play a bit of grass tennis and naturally the resort style pool was in huge demand with the weather being absolutely superb.
So this brings us to the question – Now What?
The good news is, just because the festive season is over, the fun doesn’t need to stop. There is always something happening in the region.
Take this this weekend,11/01/14, for example.
The Bruno Bay Fireworks Spectacular is a Must-Do Event on the Riverland calendar. This tailors itself to a fantastic family evening. We have a number of accommodation bookings just for those wanting to attend. The event is located a mere eight km from our park at the Cobdogla Football oval and kicks off at 6pm. The whole family is catered for from numerous sideshow rides, jumping castle, stall holders, motorbike stunts, food and drink vans, not to mention being captivated by the outstanding talent of the “Kiss Tribute Band”. Want more????
Yes, of course you do. After dark you will witness an outstanding fireworks display. Almost 3,000 people are expected to attend this year. It’s not too late to book your cabin or site at the caravan park.
The Australia Day long weekend is also sneaking upon us, 24/01/14 – 27/01/14. It is probably one of the last opportunities of the summer for a family getaway. Come stay with us and escape to Lake Bonney, the River or Banrock Station this Australia Day. Activities and celebrations are being held in the region across the January long weekend.
Wishing you all the best for the new year.
