The guests started rocking in for the 3pm start at which time the fires were roaring and the coals being made. We had over 20 Camp Ovens cooking, with all sorts of different creations. As hoped, the wind dropped went the sun went down which created a fantastic atmosphere around the fire and meant we were not chasing the smoke free area.
As we all started to eat dinner, our live entertainment in the form of friend of the KOMCP, Linda Stavrou, started doing her thing and after a hiccup with the WIFI, she sang her heart out and even had a friend drop in to do some duos. There was even some dancing on the makeshift dance floor.
Overall, the night was heaps of fun and of course was a fantastic fundraiser for the Riverland Relay for Life.
Thank you for everyone who attended the night, and keep your eye out for the event next year.
